The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with third parties determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many forms of data processing are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke previously given consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us suffices. The legal validity of the data processing performed prior to the consent being retracted remains unaffected by the retraction.

Right to Object to the Collection of Data in Special Cases and to Direct Advertising (Art. 21 DSGVO)

If the processing of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f German Data Protection Act (DSVGO), you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal grounds on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process the personal data in question unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) of the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO)).

Right of Appeal to the Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the German Data Protection Act (DSVGO), affected persons have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the respective member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right of appeal is not affected by any other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to Data Portability

You are entitled to have data which we process automatically on the grounds of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries sent to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address line of the browser changing from „http://“ to „https://“ and by having the lock symbol in your browser line.

For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You are entitled to demand the restriction of processing of your person-related data. To do so, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:

If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you are entitled to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If the processing of your person-related data happened / happens unlawfully, you can demand the restriction of the data processing instead of the deletion.

If we no longer need your person-related data, but you require it for the exercise, defense or assertion of legal claims, you are entitled to demand the restriction of the processing of your person-related data instead of the deletion.

If you have lodged an objection under Article 21 (1) of the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO), a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests take precedence, you are entitled to demand the restriction of the processing of your person-related data.

If you have placed restrictions on the processing of your person-related data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

3. Data Collection on our Website
Cookies

Our website partially uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our service more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called „session cookies“. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow our website to recognize your browser the next time you visit it.

You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. The functionality of this website may be limited if cookies are deactivated.

Cookies that are required to perform the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f German Data Protection Act (DSGVO). The website operator maintains a legitimate interest in storing cookies for technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server Log Files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which are transmitted to us automatically by your browser. These are:

  •    Browser type and version
  •    Operating system used
  •    Referrer URL
  •    Host name of the accessing computer
  •   Time of the server request
  •    IP adress

If you send us inquiries via our contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, is stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a German Data Protection Act (DSVGO)). This consent may be revoked at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail suffices. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered in the contact form will remain stored by us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage or until the purpose of storing the data ceases to apply (e.g. after the processing of your request has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

4. Analysis Tools and Advertising
Google reCAPTCHA

We use „Google reCAPTCHA“ (hereafter „reCAPTCHA“) on our websites. This is provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA („Google“).

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to verify whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is performed by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

ReCAPTCHA analyses are run entirely within the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is being performed.

Processing of data is carried out based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f German Data Protection Act (DSVGO). The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting their web services from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.
